MSc Architecture and the Sustainable Environment
This project is for QEQM site analysis and overall improvement strategies for the maternity ward complex. The aim is defining environmental properties and making the necessary changes while making the interior spacial improvements and well-being areas. Inner gardens are designed to provide stack ventilation and passive environmental control systems are used. For the façade system and shading elements, composite wood horizontal and side fins are designed. Thus, the new design has low energy consumption and low embodied energy and carbon intensity.
