This proposal for a textile recycling and design centre was inspired by the contrasting images of Margate. It aims to improve the well-being of Cliftonville residents by providing opportunities for employment, education and socialising, whilst assisting the regeneration of the local economy and vibrant art scene. Secondary promenade routes form better connections with the coastal landscape and help establish an enjoyable landmark location which will support the expansion of tourism along the suffering Margate seafront.
