Travelling Community Theatre
The proposal aims to create socially inclusive public space through creating a public theatre that is accessible to all. Celebrating the core values of a Net Zero approach to construction, the proposal is assembled using environmentally responsible materials and has been designed to be fully dissembled allowing for the structure to be relocated and reassembled at alternative sites across the UK. With an underlying narrative to visit several different communities, the varying performance spaces of the proposal aim to present an element of familiarity with the theatres audience and context. Ultimately, striving to create an immersive theatre experience.
