The Goodsyard Virology and Infectious Disease Research Centre explores an opportunity for a less conventional development on a site where conventional development is currently proposed, within a unique urban setting. It culminates the contextual yearly focus on health and wellbeing within an identified site and borough where residents are particularly at risk during a pandemic, providing a unique physical outlet to maintain active wellbeing and where vaccines can be produced and distributed.
