Stage 3, BA (Hons) Architecture
One main issue in Margate, and Thanet as a whole, is drug addiction. A solution was proposed by designing a Drug Detox and Rehab Centre, based on a three stage programme: Detoxification / Rehabilitation / Reintegration.
Designed as a therapeutic healing environment, the whole layout is based on the medical and psychological journey of the patient towards his reintegration as a healthy member of society.
