MSc Bio Digital Architecture
Using a bottom-up approach to architectural design, my projects involved architectural spatial exploration through abstract two- and three-dimensional simulations of algorithms found in nature and biology. The simulations were scripted using programming environments like Processing (Java-based) and C# component inside Grasshopper. Predator-prey interactions and dodder plant infestation were some of the natural phenomena that were used for the abstract simulations. The geometric outputs from the simulations were then post processed to explore architectural spatial qualities.
