Stage 4, MArch

My stage 4 projects this academic year have been a manifestation and reflective depiction of values. They were focal to learning, convenience and childcare. The first proposal was situated in Canterbury and responded to the historic city wall and its relationship with pedestrians – where a multi-platformed stair scape encouraged learning through social opportunities and sensory experiences. The second and final project is in St. Mary’s Axe and acts as a redeeming corporate childcare firm in response to the depicted negligence of childcare facilities and general consideration in heavily corporate industries for working parents. The project mirrored bold fundamental skyscraper features while maintaining the youthful whims of its inhabitants nature through level slides and ergonomic privileges.
