Lewis David James Dryden

Stage 3, BA (Hons) Architecture

These are some of my favourite images from the AR558 (Architectural Design) module at Kent School of Architecture and Planning. This project allowed me to explore my most ambitious proposal to date; designing a new civic amenity to support ‘Age UK’, a charity group who provide care to the elderly.

Through exploring local, historic architectural precedents, experimenting with interesting, organic forms, and understanding the requirements of the elderly, I aimed to produce a scheme which enhanced the urban realm whilst improving lives, particularly those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
