Stage 3, BA (Hons) Architecture
The creation of both ALGA (the seaweed harvesting and research centre) and the prop making studio (an underground addition to The Theatre Royal) aim to ‘breathe life’ into the community of Margate and Cliftonville. ALGA, offers the opportunity for individuals to be educated in Margate’s own natural asset, algae. Likewise, the prop making studio enables the growth of creativity amongst Margate’s locals. Both scheme’s hope to help Margate and Cliftonville flourish economically and socially.
