Stage 3, BA (Hons) Architecture
After looking into Margate’s social and environmental background, I made sure that the projects we got assigned improves Margate in all aspects possible. For the Theatre Royal project, I challenged my creative side and played around with geometry and form onto the extension facade. For the Lido project I came up with something that will benefit the people’s well-being in many ways. The building itself still has the bath and cave features and celebrates my gesture by shaping walls and with a courtyard which is the heart of the building. Both schemes aim to modernise and benefit Margate’s architectural features.
