Stage 3, BA (Hons) Architecture
An ‘adaptive-reuse’ project of an existing car park site in Ramsgate, which is repurposed for clients in Thanet Community Development Trust. This building supports the organisation’s main goals, which are to improve locals’ skills, bringing unemployed people closer to employment, as well as to tackle social isolation, which is prominent in Thanet. This is done through the provision of multiple classrooms, a training kitchen, computer rooms for CV making, social spaces and halls to accommodate social activities.
