Stage 3 (BA Hons) Architecture
Having Canterbury Cathedral as the client, the project aims to ‘bring unity to the community by food’ and seeks to establish a community growing, cooking, dining, and learning centre in Canterbury. For Architectural Design, the curtain wall and circular open plan design draws people’s sight to the central cooking and dining hall, attracting people to gather in it and rebuild connections. The 8-storey vertical farm becomes a new landmark of Canterbury.
