MSc Architectural Conservation

One of best study cases I encountered this year was St. Andrew’s Chapel near Maidstone. The MSc Architectural Conservation course is all about ways of recognising, assessing and preserving the heritage. But especially with this SPAB project, I enjoyed drawing the chapel, looking at its decay, retracing its history, and reflecting on repair methods. Then the exciting part came with new design proposal for reuse.
