Stage 3, BA (Hons) Architecture
This project ‘Souns’ a Youth Music Centre in Ramsgate is built on the principles of exchange, where musical instruments are restored and then reused within the centre. Inspiration came from the way music visualisation can be demonstrated and the site’s landscape; where an old river sculpted the chalk cliffs down to the coast. These are seen in the flow of the static forms and the kinetic elements; which respond and move to music.
