Stage 3, BA (Hons) Architecture
This design project focuses on utilising an underused car park on a prominent site in the Ramsgate harbour to provide a multifunctional headquarter for Mencap: a local charity helping people with learning disabilities. The building combines all functions necessary for the operation of the charity, while also comprising an extensive productive garden which supplies the market and cafe in the building, supported accommodation, and a series of recreational rooftop gardens connected by ramps.
